VGP – State President Truong Tan Sang and his spouse left Ha Noi Thursday to attend the 20th economic leaders’ meeting of the Asia-Pacific Cooperation in Vladivostok, Russia.
The State President was accompanied by Foreign Minister Pham Binh Minh, Chairman of the President’s Office Dao Viet Trung, Minister of Industry and Trade Vu Huy Hoang, Vietnamese Ambassador to Russia Pham Xuan Son.
His attendance aims to speed up the implementation of Viet Nam ’s foreign policy and continue promoting the country’s role in APEC through its active contributions to APEC’s cooperation and the major contents of this meeting.
Viet Nam will also take the advantage of APEC cooperation programs to stabilize the macro economy, boosting the economic restructuring and maintaining a reasonable growth rate as well as strengthening cooperation and gaining APEC’s support for its security and development issues.
